Paul Spencer is an active member of the OASIS Technical Committee, and developed the XML Schemas for EML and the means of customising the schemas for various types of elections. He has presented hands-on courses on implementing XML within the framework of the e-GIF on many occasions on behalf of the Office of the e-Envoy and the Civil Service College as well as providing the courses below directly to organisations in both the public and private sectors.

The Election Markup Language (EML)
Duration: 1 or 2 days
Audience: The first day is aimed at those responsible for organizing elections, managers within suppliers of election systems and services, project managers and technical staff. The second day is aimed at project managers and technical staff who have attended the first day.

Duration: 3-4 hours
Audience: Decision makers and project managers in the public sector and suppliers to the public sector.
