Paul Spencer is an active member of the OASIS Technical Committee, and developed the XML Schemas for EML and the means of customising the schemas for various types of elections. He also developed the customisations for UK public election pilots and for the online electoral registers (CORE) project.

He has presented hands-on courses on implementing XML within the framework of the e-GIF on many occasions on behalf of the Office of the e-Envoy and the Civil Service College as well as providing the courses below directly to organisations in both the public and private sectors.

Audience: The one-day course is for people who understand XML, but need to gain familiarity with a tool that provides rendering of an XML source. If required, this can be preceded by a day to gain a basic understanding of XML.
